I am a recent fashion design graduate from Parsons Paris, The New School for Design. Before attending Parsons I began my studies in Jalisco, Mexico; it has been an interesting journey to experience fashion in extremely different settings, I became aware of the designer I am striving to be. What interests me are ordinary, everyday objects, people and moments. It is important for me to be relatable and share personal experiences I find relevant. Sharing my Mexican-American background is a constant approach because I believe in inclusion and embracing diversity in my work. For future projects I see myself diving into local crafts and supporting craftsman, it is crucial to maintain tradition and for future generations to experience artisanal objects.
